Hi there! I’m Juliann.

I’ve always felt some sort of calling to deliver babies and work with expecting parents, and I am passionate about supporting families throughout their pregnancy and birth journey. Choosing to pursue midwifery was a natural choice for me, as I believe in providing comprehensive care that not only focuses on physical health but also ensures families feel emotionally supported. With a background as a paramedic, I offer a unique perspective and knowledge base that allows me to approach childbirth with a well-rounded understanding of both medical and holistic practices. Having personally experienced the beauty of home birth with my own two children, I am inspired to provide families with the same empowering and nurturing experience as a midwife. With my expertise and dedication, families can trust that they are in capable hands as I support them through this transformative and joyous time in their lives.

As part of my goal to support our local birth community, I also serve as the Executive Director of Love Your Birth, a local nonprofit.

Emily is a stay at home mom with a passion for helping other local moms feel more confident by connecting them with resources flowing with information on everything birth and baby related. She currently serves as the Love Your Birth! Treasurer and Secretary as well as operating as Juliann’s Office Manager at Little Orchids. Emily would like to start teaching childbirth education classes in the next year. When Emily isn't chasing her toddler around, she enjoys trying new local restaurants and traveling!
